I have always found it odd how so many people can claim to be huge supporters of Liberty and Freedom, and so against the idea of being a sovereign citizen.

Against it no, but does it work nope. They are everywhere and I know cops who have an I to them and all it does is cause aggravation. If they would normally arrest them they were still arrested. Many won’t get driver licenses so they get arrested for stupid crap like that. I get the point and give them credit but not having a drivers license would be a huge hassle if you’re not living off the grid.
Sovereign Citizens, simply want to live off the grid, in the middle of modern surburban society and not obey any rules or laws or taxes...it is a form of a caveman of 100,000 years ago taking what he wants when he wants due to physical strength.

How can one be against something that is not a real thing?
These people feel that due to some contrived loopholes in the constitution, they can declare themselves free and laws do not apply to them. However, people who get their legal advice from Wikipedia find that these loopholes don’t tend to actually exist.
Often the sovereign citizens don’t bother to pay for their licenses. They feel the right to free movement means they do not need a license. Travel is a right, which is true.
What the sovereigns fail to grasp is they are free to travel, by foot, by bike, even by horse. A car is a complex machine. To operate a complex machine requires training and some licensure to operate said machine. Heck, here in Wisconsin all our driving laws are worded with “operate a motor vehicle”; none say “drive.”
In their twisted view of the law they feel ordinance violations are not valid because there is no victim. Yet they forget we have different levels of legal violations in this country.
In Nearly all States, most, traffic and other minor violations are ordinance violations. Not a crime, but a civil forfeiture. Thus, no “injured party” is needed. It is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.
The issue is that the states have went from trying to keep things civilized to using their powers for revenue. Though I am not sure of a good way to keep said laws but limit how the government enforces it. Normally I would say jury trial should be the answer but after the lawfare that took place and people's lack of critical thinking shoots that down.
Agreed. The elected Class, the Police and the Courts, overall have done terrible things to the American People. I am okay with a revenue stream for violations of the law. Breaking laws deserve a form of punishment.
I will use speeding as an example; many years ago, speeding fines were dictated by MPH over the posted speed. For decades, most areas had a $1 fine for each MPH over the limit. Seems rather far to me. Now, Judges impose whatever fine they want, and then they add made up court fees on top of the fine. Get caught doing ten over? $350 fine plus $200 in court fees. Unreal, We the People have allowed this to happen.

Corporations have NO jurisdiction over a Man or Woman. Nor can Corporations make law. The Fraud took place under the Act of 1871 when everything was corporatized. He refused to use his registered corporate name. He knew what he is doing. When you use the BAR or their "forms" you are using their jurisdiction. You represent yourself under common law as a Man or Woman not as a person which is corporate fiction. Basically if I don't have a contract on the private side with you or the corporation you work for...Null and Void! You have to represent yourself.

Most of the "sovereign citizens" are nut jobs, but I can't blame the ones that just want to be free from an oppressive government.
Sovereign Citizen as a way to exploit some imaginary legal loophole because you broke the law does not exist.
Sovereign Citizen as an ideology is real. I see things like refusing to wear a mask or registering an AR-15 as as subscribing to that ideology.

You do realize that a dollar for every mph over the limit was a lot more of someone’s income back then. Fined like that mean nothing now and don’t deter people from speeding. That’s why the fines can be that high now.
And I think the speed limits should be realistic instead of artificially low as they are now.
And courts often give a lower fine for a sob story that they never bother to verify

How can someone, of any age, with no formal training, no vision test, no health limitations, no licensing or weight restrictions operate a 20Klb farm tractor towing another 20Klb of implement on public roads? You are forgetting the part where they Car Ins jumps a stupid amount of money for 5 years. The fine and court fee are not he only cost to a speeding ticket.
