Now that's a yote gun, bravoHi guys, I'm wondering if I do my build like this and pin and weld everything to the rifle and then weld it to the bench vise as is with maybe a layer of epoxy over top. Would that be NY legal? Thanks in advance.
Hi, I just really love the appearance of this bullpup stock, any suggestion of other NY compliant chassis which has a nice tactical appearance?I joke @zh448452302 but in all seriousness, as cool as that bullpup stock is, trying to make it NY legal, isn't a great option. Especially since there are already so so many compliant options out there for the 10/22 that are equally as awesome and way more functional.
I mean, with what you are suggesting, you may as well strap the barrrel/receiver to a 2x6 and call it a day. Function will and always should trump form.
Probably the best bet is to make a cut in the rear hole like shown in post 9 so that it cannot be a thumb hole stock. You’ll be able to still grab it like normal. It shouldn’t be interpreted a pistol grip either since it doesn’t even point down. The front trigger guard could or couldn’t be interpreted as a front grip though.Hi guys, thanks all of your comments. I just really like this stock because of its appearance, so it will still be illegal if I disable both the holes?
That is butt ugly. Go with a Bullpup.Hi everyone,
I want to buy this HTA 22/90 stock for Ruger 10/22, it has a thumbhole stock and a fore grip hole and detachable magazine at same time.

The overall length of gun will be 26.5 inches and the silencer is dummy. I wonder if I order a customized plug to block the rear thumbhole stock and probably a grip fin to half block the front foregrip hole, just like the pic shown below. Will this be legal in NY state? Thanks for all your comments.
