Im seeing anywhere from 3-6inches of ice around me in westchester. Looking to fish the catskills next weekend

Next weekend should be good. I ice fish but haven’t been out yet. I drove by a popular spot yesterday and there were no signs of anyone being out.
I think the Catskills probably have lower temps than me in the Buffalo area so I’d think you’d be all set. Normally the DEC publishes stuff on how thick the ice is.
Chautauqua and Silver lake are good to go. A friend is going to one of the finger lakes this weekend but I’m not going.
