Not exactly as the title states but yeah this is problematic. The FOID is problematic. You don’t lose your DL if the card is reinstated or if your turn in your now illegal guns if there is such a thing outside of a violent felon or violent mentally ill person possessing a firearm IMO.

Nobody cares, especially Illinois residents. They had massive non-compliance with their entire firearm registration scheme. They’ll just get their guns and ammo from out of state.

I registered all of mine ,so that at least some fool would comply........
