Again gun-grabbers stripping regular citizens of their rights. While preserving the rights of LEOs (retired) by exempting them from these asinine gun laws. So.. your neighbor who is a retired cop is afforded the right to protect their home/self with effective firearms. And you are NOT !

People - you need to STOP putting cops (LEOs) on elevated pedestals.
And BTW I'm not anti-cop. I just don't think my rights are subordinate to theirs.

Here is the danger, no offense LEOs it is just the nature of the beast:
1) special interests (NOT the populace with the general welfare in mind) become lobbyists;
2) lobbyists (not duly elected legislators) write the laws;
3) laws are passed by the legislators who are indebted to the bribes/campaign contributions of the lobbyists;
4) the police enforce the lobbyist-written laws;
5) the police become hired muscle of the corporatist state indebted and run by special interests
ergo the police unwittingly run the risk of becoming Pinkertons (e.g., the Sullivan Act, [un]SAFE Act, etc.,).

The fallback postion of progressivism; tribalism. "Retired Police" are a favored tribe because there are not that many of them and they are generally on the last quintile of the demographic curve, but you don't want to piss them off because they could possibly side with the plebes. A few years after the demographics of the progressive education system deny any 2A rights from the plebes, we yank the "Retired Police" privilege, and the whole 2A thing goes away.
