Improvised "Tools"

My son in law got a pair of these for Christmas. I was thinking they could come in handy for a hand to hand situation. Pretty nasty.

Would have to see how they fit the hand. Are they sloppy in the hand? Do they feel like they would rotate in the hand if you put pressure on the tips?

Seemed like as long as you could maintain a fist, even if they did rotate some (forward/backward) they wouldn't go far.

I’m not fighting anyone. I’m walking away or shooting. Between my bad back and bad right shoulder a fight would not end well for me. Fast motions extending my shoulder nearly cripple me and I have no strength anymore over head.

There is a metric crap ton of "cool looking" melee weapons out there.

If they weren't used historically, there is probably a good reason.

There were many wicked looking weapons used by Asian countries that I'd love to have but I'd kinda hesitate to use them defensively, I'm sure some DA would be quick to charge you with carrying a dangerous weapon.
Somewhere I have a vintage brush axe that would be brutal and has a legitimate daily use. If I just happen to have it in my truck and needed something quick, well.... lol
