After a series of stumbles in his first term, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has become organized labor’s best friend in Albany.

The Democratic governor has pushed through spending to benefit unions and their members, changed laws, issued executive orders and embraced arguably the most pro-labor plank of any governor in the United States.

In election season, unions are rewarding Cuomo for his support

I’m a state employee union member and I can tell you I won’t be voting for cuomo or calling anyone on his behalf. Everyone in the union that I know hates him with a passion. The union bosses might be in favor of him, but the members aren’t.

Well anyway if he gets re-elected I’d better at least get a good raise, but I doubt it.
