Anyone that sends me $300 of my own money over a 4 year period has got my vote! less than 100 bucks a year is big money !

Governor Kathy Hochul's government salary was approximately $259,804 in 2024.

To be fair I don’t think she’s targeting people like us. She is targeting young families since she did more to assist them. They now have free lunch at school, increased child tax credit for NYS, an income tax reduction, and now this. For young families that make $200,000 or thereabouts it’s this check, $400 in income tax reduction, $1,500/per kid or free lunch, and I think another $1,200 for child tax credit on taxes so that adds up to a bit of money. That might sway someone to vote for her if you get it all.

I don’t know Any “ young” families that are making any where near $200,000 a year and I know quite a few young , hard working families.
none the less . Giving back over taxed monies and calling it an inflation relief check is a feel good leftist tactic that all NY’ers should be insulted by.
