We need to encourage innovation on this but definitely not for me. Might serve a good purpose as a hide away gun, or a back pack gun? Not really the best carry option.

No. Really not much smaller than the smallest compacts. And if you look at self defense shootings, fast presentation of the firearm and quick first shots on target seem to be the most important. How fast is this going to be? I wouldn't carry without one in the chamber much less no mag in a partially unassambled firearm.
