I know you guys are sick of hearing it, I'm becoming a broken record, but by my acknowledgement of that fact it's even more important to remind everyone.

We are actually beginning to live with big brother watching us. We are becoming dangerously close to living under a techno-dictatorship.

The largest expense immediately after 9-11 was spent on tooling surveillance to look "inward" in the United States, no outward... There is plenty that is known, it's the unknown that slowly seeps out. You are just getting glimpse. What they track and can actually see would scare the shit out of everyone!

Unfortunately with their ability to cross reference databases with the computer power they have 100k more downloads wouldn’t slow them down. We have surrendered our privacy for cheap convenience

“investigators want information on users of Cuomo’s tiny penis”

The legitimate reason given for the inquiry was the export of such tech.
We don't want bad guys having our cool stuff.
That said ; the potential and probability for abuse and misuse is off the charts high; especially given the swampy DS recently revealed.

I’m telling you my wife’s phone combined with Facebook listens to her speaking and suggests things in her browser that she and I have never searched for.
A few weeks ago she showed me her Facebook feed and said hey weren’t we just talking about this? I didn’t search it did you? This has happened a few times over the last year or so.
Cabelas offered me a birthday discount even though I’ve never given them my birthday officially. I’ve given it while buying ammo and paid with a debit card. Those two must be communicating. It’s worse than we all know.

For the first time ever I just noticed a really disturbing, similar situation.

15 minutes ago I was talking about Social Security Administration with several co-workers because we need to get an abstract for work. And I just opened up my YouTube account and they had an advertisement for the Social Security Administration. I'm sure this has happened to me before but I just never noticed it, and it goes to show that our telephones are listening to our conversations.

Pretty soon cell phones will be registered and regulated like handguns. Never loan them to a friend or family member, lock them up at night.

I think they are no one has just pushed it yet. One of the past administrations made it illegal for you to root your own phone. Cant track you without there code in it. Never mind they reversed it they found away around it.

So I watched Glenn Beck's interview with Tim Pool. They got into the invasive nature of Big Tech and Pool had and interesting take. He said to think they're listening to you is a naive view. What's probably happening is that they have collected and connected enough data on you to predict that you'd have a need or desire to interact with the SSA before it actually happened.

If they can/do operate primarily operate using behavioral prediction, that means they have everything they need to steer you and the rest of society wherever they desire. The implications are nightmarish.

I heard an interesting experiment to try in this vein.

Pick some very obscure vacation destination and talk about it for a day or 2, then see if it starts showing up in your feed.

You would obviously need to locate an obscure destination without searching the internet for it from any devices connected to you for this to be a good test.

But if you suddenly start seeing ads for the Royal Carlton Hotel in Bologna Italy, it should be a fairly safe bet they didn't "predict" you were interested in that one...
