I have friends and coworkers that are the same way. They seem really moderate about guns when we talk about it cuz they know I’m a gun guy, but I know they are truly anti gun and would take every single gun from everyone at the drop of a hat. They can’t be trustedNot for nothing, but when I go on MSN or a lot of these other places where you can thumbs up or thumbs down (or similar), why is it that anything gun control is always thumbs down with only a very few thumbs up?
I can hardly fathom that all of those are people that are obsessed with guns giving those ratings... they would be classified as your average Joe.
Everyone I talk to for the most part (non-gun fanatics) they don't like gun laws for law abiding citizens. Some would like to pare back the police with their gun rights, for instance, meaning make them just as responsible as everyone else in the event of negligence especially for those that are trigger happy. Including shooting non-threatening pets and negligent homicides, etc.
I have a few friends that are cops and they all told me the last thing they want to do is shoot someone and if they got shot first, that is what they signed up for. Sad, but they are right, it is part of the job.
Is a Huge Wave About to Come Crashing Down on Gun Control?
I still think it is rather funny that people are still talking about the Constitutionality of these gun laws. None of that matters. The Courts show time after time, they do not care about these Rights, they do not care if something is a direct violation of Rights.
The elected class does not care, either party. They are taking guns and our Right. It is not that they might take them, they are. Each and everyday, somewhere across this once United Nation, citizens are losing this Right. Not even at a slow pace.
After they take our guns, they will do what they did in the UK whereby many cops do not carry guns.I still think it is rather funny that people are still talking about the Constitutionality of these gun laws. Are we there yet?
Once people are uncomfortable or have nothing to lose its likey to get sporty. Its hard to think about change when you have responsibilities, job, food and a bit of disposable income. Not sure. I do not think so. Here we have a gun forum, filled mostly with gun guys and guys that support the 2A, so many still think that all is going to turn out okay in regards to the violations. Like as if some magical court is going to come and shine upon us, making all of these infringements disappear like a fart in the wind.
Nothing good is occurring on the Rights side of things.
Do any of you think it might get as bad as Venezuela?Once people are uncomfortable or have nothing to lose its likey to get sporty. Its hard to think about change when you have responsibilities, job, food and a bit of disposable income.

I have been saying for years that everything is not sustainable, but somehow the fake money keeps flowing and keeping the boat afloat. I think its not going to be a fast crash, just more division between rich and poor, urban and rural, at least at first. The cities will be safe with just enough free things to keep the natives from rebelling against the system (most of the time) and slaughtering the elite. The rural people will be on their own, squeezed to death in every way possible. When the food, power, water and resources finally stop flowing from rural areas, that's when it officially will start.Do any of you think it might get as bad as Venezuela?
