The Ukraine thing has created the need for "war correspondents". You know, the chain-smoking, hard-drinking, risk-taking alpha male correspondents we have become accustomed to. We now have women reporting under fire making the males look silly.
Just when a bunch of sissified mamby pamby smegma breath correspondents were about to promote the cause of eliminating "sovereignty" and borders. Russia decides to go third Reich on Ukraine setting back the progressive agenda of "no mo borders" back forever.
With their ratings in the tank and their employees out marching for gender queerness, they needed someone to go into a warzone and get some stories totally forgetting that their anchors and talking heads have forgotten how to interview actual "newsmakers".
