Very interesting interview with the son of a Hamas leader. He quit hamas and converted to christianity. He says:
- Hamas does not care about palestinians at all except as human shields or political tools
- Israel should use gas (!) to eradicate hamas in all the tunnels
- Israel is doing the palestinian people a favor by destroying hamas

I have no problem with the IDL handling their own business. I'm not sure we want to get balls deep into another war, though. We have enough going on. Riots, economic issues, a president with Alzheimer's, pumping money into Ukraine... The list goes on.

Im thinking our guys might be involved in some rescue operations, might be one reason for the delay of game. once the Israeli ground operation begins, they might start cutting throats on Al jeezeer . and Jo jo Biden was shaking hands with some spec op guys in a photo shoot, like Esienhower before the d day landings , it wouldn't shock me to see something like that in 48 hours .

Our guys are there to keep Iran honest.
I have no problem parking a few carriers there to remind them that Operation Praying Mantis II is an option.
The IDF can handle themselves with Hamas and even Hezbollah, I don't think they need any help.

Thats all true , but the Israeli army has no tolerance for casualties. and if they invade Gaza, its going to take a heavy toll , no way around it , and they have better weapons then the Iraqis had . If things go South, they are going to run home to pappa and beg for help . They still have to contend with a possible war in the North Too.
Then theres also the possibility of an attack on US ships , like the USS Liberty , to bring America into the war . I think the main objective here has little to do with the Palestinians and more to do with an air attack against Iran
