Honestly, sadness was very quickly replaced for me with anger. The sadness wanes but the anger gets more intense each day that goes by.

I am very happy to see that there are still people that have empathy. Lost mine a very long time ago. I am trying to get some of it back. I see the videos and the pictures, nothing; no emotion from me.

I do have lots of anger and hatred, not sure if those fall under empathy?

When I see the images of children being assaulted by the terrorists, I feel deep sadness at the idea that those children will live their last moments on earth in uncomprehensible fear as they see the bedrock of their existence, their family, slaughtered right in front of them.

That sadness is quickly followed by profound anger. I find myself wanting to do justice to those evil bastards. Of course, I'm powerless to do so. That makes me more angry. The emotional turmoil is unsettling.

Please do not think that I have any empathy for the barbarians. The thought experiments about what I'd like to do to them has led me to some dark places. (And that's coming from someone who has never pointed a firearm at a living thing and will generally not harm benign insects outdoors since that is naturally 'their place.')

It's not even about punishment, or retribution, it's simply the fact that they cannot co-exist.

Those cultures need to be excised from society just like a tumor is removed from a body.

Never thought you had empathy for the evil doers, never crossed my mind.

I do have a good, and healthy amount of anger though.

I am hopeful that my anger will decrease as the Israeli military devastates the evil.

There is a whole lot of nothing in the south except for Eilat and his backdrop is not that of a small city. Well after a great weekend of being unplugged from reality, I see things are shaping up well for WW3. Again a complete intel failure? Me thinks not.

The raw videos that I am seeing on the internet suggests that Hezbollah and Hamas have U.S. weapons. My guess from the failed Afghanistan withdrawal. I guess we will have to see if that is reported. To me it's obvious from my simple observation of the raw footage.

Destabilizing the Middle East has great advantages for the West's war narrative.

From what I've picked up, Hamas has openly said they are using US weapons. Some are saying from Afghanistan and Ukraine. You can see in videos they are driving our HMMWVs

It's not as simplistic as the average misinformed American wants to believe. Reminds me of 9/11, when the entire Muslim world was blamed, but U.S. agencies who actually weaponized a small part of that world were treated as heroes and protectors and they went on to do the same thing few years later. I didn't read every post here, but in those that I read, there was no mention of the fact that Israel helped to create Hamas to fight leftist PLO, it backfired in a big way.
Of course this doesn't lessen the atrocities committed by Hamas, but Israeli government has an annoying habit of looking the other way, whether helping religious fanatics that hated Jews or neo-Nazi owned government in Ukraine. Political amnesia sweeps everything under the rug.
