My wife was communicating with her cousin earlier that lives in Jersey. Her husband is from Israel and still has family there. His two nephews were called up the other day. One of them has a job of picking up the body bags once they are ready for removal.

I wonder what Israel's end game is here? Ideally, I am sure they would like to sanitize the entire strip but that has really bad international optics. It gets real murky for them deciding whats military and whats civilian. Say they wipe out all or at least most of Hamas leadership and fighters, they will be replaced in very little time internally or even externally. Through their actions the Palestinians will have plenty of recruitment numbers to "set things right" This does not take into account the next wave of "refugees" that will be imported into countries that really do not want them.
I see no way for them to end the problem, its just going to be kids fighting in the schoolyard and every time the loser plots revenge for the next encounter.

Israel could just deport ALL the people in Gaza to Turkey. Erase Gaza from the map. Turkey hates Israel either way, so no loss. Israel could just threaten other Arab countries this is coming and we will see EVERYONE hates the Palestinians.

That does not mean the Reports/Propaganda being disseminated isn't or hasn't any factual basis, only that it is to be verified before being accepted as the unmitigated truth.
Let us remember the young woman that cried before Congress telling them how Iraqi Soldiers were dumping Baby incubators on the floor and then killing the Babies inside...sucked us into a 20 year way that we pretty much lost. Propaganda, Patriotism, and Pissing People Off WILL lead us full throttle into a War.

I believe little of what the media reports and believe little of what our government/leaders say. EVERYTHING must be verified.
