On the contrary! I think we should implement the electoral college on a state level. That would solve the issues in New York State as well as in CA where otherwise the conservative (or at the very least- moderate) vast rural and suburban parts of the state are terrorized by liberal urban centers. Next best thing to total secession of urban centers from the rest of the state.
