It's time for the church to grow balls and get medevil and to start excommunicating politicians who vote in favor of laws like this and anyone who provides these services.

I don’t see where it says an abortion can be carried out at full term, with the exception to protect the mother. Am I missing something?
I just copied the 2nd paragraph where it states the acceptable parameters where it can be carried out.

"or health" is the key part. "Health" isn't defined by the statute and could mean many, many different things; mental health for instance. Doc, I'm depressed and anxious because of this pregnancy...
On top of that, it strips abortion from the Penal code entirely. Even if a provider was found to have performed an abortion that was explainable by the mother's health, the penalty went from a felony to a fine of up to $50 (I think - that's what I get from looking at the Public Health code, but I'm not a lawyer so maybe I'm missing something). They might also risk their license but I think the abortion would have to rolled into a professional misconduct violation.

if you look at the section of the penal code that deals with murder, you will see that under the definition of murder, ABORTION has been striked out and removed .
