There is some wisdom in having a distinction between a BB gun and a real gun especially if children will be running around with BB guns. Kids make stupid choices but is this even realistic to occur? What are we talking and orange tip? Not hard to do to a real gun.
I’m not saying I agree with NYS regulating it but I think it’s wise on the parent side of things.

Ironically there already ARE Laws prohibiting painting of both non and live guns...can't paint a real gun with an orange tip or a fake gun black. (or other colors) NY/NYC does it's damnedest to Legislate against the infinity of human stupidity and hypocritical morality....just can't be done.

The best we can do now is, just get the fuck out of NYS and let it go. Its beyond fixing. We need to move somewhere else to help what is left of our freedom part of our country, stay free, and NOT let it ROT like we let happen here in NY. Its not just about the guns we can`t have here, its about all the other bullshit we have to deal with here. High taxes, high cost of electric, infrastructure is gone, horrible roads, high crime, criminals running wild. I could name a hundred other problems, but i know you get what i`m saying.

I know i`m on record for saying stay and fight, but sometimes, my friend, a communist run state ain`t worth your time anymore when people have ignored what had been coming for years. I don`t have enough fist`s or fight left in me at my age for the amount of anti-americans in a policed state in NY anymore who continue shitting on our US Constitution. The police won`t even arrest these democrat government tyrants for the treasonous acts they`ve done. Police paychecks and pensions matter more over the good people in NYS apparently. And it`s only going to get worse.

Since Internet Gun Forums came to be a viable platform circa 2000 I have posted from the start about how We need to fight against those who would gladly not only take our Guns, but gloat while watching us surrender them as a defeated Militia, how We must find candidates, vet them, and work with time, effort, and personal expense to get those representatives elected and those who do not embrace our Constitutional Rights removed from Office, and collectively we have failed. I am not out of the fight per-say, but every Soldier eventually retires or dies in the Fight, and my time in NY has come.
New Yorker's keep their guns and keep quiet about it...most will bitch and complain, but won't spend more than the cost of a basic membership to some association that they think will insure their Rights and save them when they get jammed up, only to find there wasn't enough support to retain or enlist people that could devote significant effort against their plight, so they're screwed.
More than once and from multiple sources I have been told that "Hunters" (that's how Gun owners are lumped together) have had the lowest voter turn out of any polled...Hell, even the NYSRPA v. Bruen Case was funded more by people outside of NY than the Associations own Members...and were it not for the NRA (again outside money) it never would have made it to SCOTUS.
Unless and until The People have finally suffered enough pain, when they've lost their communities, their Rights, their Incomes, and any semblance of control over theirs and their Family Lives, will they do anything about it...if they still can.
