Hey folks. I have been trying out the Alien Gear cloak tuck 3.0 for my M&P. I really do like it except for the rubbing from the pistol grip. I have been just wearing around the house to get used to it and the rubbing sucks. I do wear my t shirts tucked in so it is not rubbing directly on the skin. Is there a fix for this? I attribute it to my dunlop syndrome.

Appendix carry is one of the motivations I have to stay in shape. Not familiar with your holster but don't they have an option to have coverage for the grip? You know, extra material or a different cut? Many holster manufacturers do.

Yeah this is the 40c. Checked with them and they don't. The nice thing is I can do their OWB holster for my xds 4 then just swap the shells and have the 40 owb and xds iwb.

I dont even feel that im carrying at sll with my Shield in a 3.0.
What position are you carrying? At about 3:30, there is no issue at all for me.

I use an alien gear also for Glock 43. I had some issues when I started using it too. I felt like mine was printing terribly and also felt like the gun was going to flip out of it. After my initial disappointment I decided I had nothing to lose with experimenting before I sent it back. What I did was keep changing one setting at a time then wear it around for a little bit and see what I thought. I first tried to remedy the printing issue. Which I read if you increase the cant of the firearm will aid in this. Well it got night and day better but I still felt like the gun was going to flip out out of the belt/holster. For this I switched the mounting lower in the waist line. Once I did this it solved the falling out problem but the printing returned. What I settled on was moving both belt connections to the lowest settings to push the gun far into my belt line. I found this to be the best setting for me. I've had to practice with it though because it makes my dead more difficult. My advice is start messing with the settings and see what works for you.

Get yourself a nice big plastic bin from walmart. Now get ready to fill it up with all the holsters you will try until you find a compromise you can live with. Have you tried appendix carry yet? Love my g-code appendix holsters. Also, keepers concealment appendix holsters are super.

I carry a Glock 19, Gen 4 in an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 and can't even tell it is there. I have mine set for a forward cant, and carry at the 4:00 position.

If you don't cant your gun no matter what position you carry it in inside the waistband, you are wrong.

Unless it works for you, then its A-OK.

A lot of us won't be carrying up front due to being differently abled at the dinner table.

As was said above, try changing the position of the holster in your pants, as well as the position of the shell on the backing.

Unless I misunderstand you Will it sounds like you are saying it is incorrect to carry IWB or AIWB unless the handgun is canted. So if I carry AIWB vertical, with no cant, that this is improper. Please clarify.

When I appendix carry, the firearm is pointing parallel to my leg aimed at the floor, not my junk. The picture you posted Will is 12:00 which would be virtually impossible to do in comfort and a bad representation of appendix carry. I appendix carry at 11:00 (southpaw), otherwise it should be 1:00 if right handed.

No what I'm saying is that if you don't cant your gun, you usually run into issues. Those issues are comfort and printing.

My buddy got a .380 because he said his XDS was too big for carry. The holster he had was with no can't at all causing the grip to stick out and print badly. I gave him my thicker Glock 26 in my canted holster and the grip disappeared on him.

I carry my Glock 26 AIWD myself at a 2 o'clock position exactly like the woman in the pick above with the .380.
