Special Counsel Jack Smith hunted information on X users who liked or retweeted posts published by former President Donald Trump, according to redacted search warrants and other documents released Monday.

Smith and his team went even further, seeking to acquire data on Twitter users who engaged with Trump’s tweets in the months leading up to Jan. 6, 2021. This included “all lists of Twitter users who have favorited or retweeted tweets posted by [Trump]

Twitter was ultimately unsuccessful in its opposition to the DOJ, with Obama-appointed District Judge Beryl Howell also fining the company $350,000 in February for failing to meet a deadline for complying with the warrant.

Musk should have printed out in blurry low contrast gray scale, every 'like' on an individual sheet of paper, and then blacked out every single word on the page including date, time, username, etc. That's how the gov/fbi would give it to us if we requested it. Cross posted in the "Ongoing Slide into a Police State" thread. This is very evil. The administration/deep state is using AI to identify and track all trump supporters in anticipation of the 2024 election. My guess is anyone that is on any social media site (even this one) will be targeted for all kinds of manipulation or harrassment.
