Exactly everyone has different living situations but leaving children even if they were teenagers your just looking for something bad to occur whether or not a firearm are in your home

Disagree. We have left our teenagers home alone on a few occasions. They are mature responsible boys who we don't worry about firearm or not.

There is no excuse for leaving children that don't have the fundamentals of firearm safety engrained into them unattended in the proximity of a readily accessible firearm.

True but like I said different living situation includes teaching them to be responsible teens something that has been sadly left out of parenting 101 in today's society

When i was a kid, 13 was considered old enough to babysit for 9 and 10 year olds.

We have a terrible habit of trying to measure maturity in years. Thats like trying to measure speed in miles/gallon, they are somewhat related, but it is not g9ing to tell you what you want to know.

This is why I keep my stuff locked up. And I keep the key on myself, so there is no way it could be "found" in the house when I'm not around. Gives me piece of mind .

You guys must have missed how the woman's boyfriend was arrested for possession of the firearm when he was a convicted felon, hence a prohibited possessor. Need more new laws, methinks....
