Today I keep hearing things about Congress 'honoring' those who died in the 'January 6th Attack'. I was curious about it and looked it up. The actual info is a lot different than what they are portraying. It's important that you read everything I pasted from the article below.

WASHINGTON — As a pro-Trump protest turned into a violent attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6 last year, four people in the crowd died.

• Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, was fatally shot by a Capitol Police officer as rioters tried to breach the House chamber.
• Kevin D. Greeson died of a heart attack, collapsing on the sidewalk west of the Capitol on Jan. 6.
• Rosanne Boyland appeared to have been crushed in a stampede of fellow rioters as they surged against the police.
• Benjamin Philips, the founder of a pro-Trump website called Trumparoo, died of a stroke.

Mr. Greeson and Mr. Philips died of natural causes, the Washington medical examiner said in April. He added that Ms. Boyland’s death was caused by an accidental overdose.

In the days and weeks after the riot, five police officers who had served at the Capitol on Jan. 6 died.

• Officer Brian D. Sicknick of the Capitol Police, who was attacked by the mob, died on Jan. 7.
• Officer Jeffrey Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department killed himself after the attack.
• Officer Howard S. Liebengood of the Capitol Police also died by suicide four days afterward.

The Capitol Police had previously said that Officer Sicknick died from injuries sustained “while physically engaging with protesters.” The Washington medical examiner later ruled that he had died of natural causes: multiple strokes that occurred hours after Officer Sicknick’s confrontation with the mob. The medical examiner added, however, that “all that transpired played a role in his condition.”

Remember this, Ashli was the only one that was murdered that day.

Roseanne Boyland, well, While initial reports claimed Boyland had been crushed to death amongst the crowds at the Capitol, the DC medical examiner ultimately ruled her cause of death was an amphetamine overdose.

Benjamin Phillips died of a stroke at a local hospital. This is true. Not proof one way or another that this stroke was brought upon by the rally.


Ashli is the only one that was killed at the hands of another. This is my only take from the deaths

She wasn't "murdered", she was shot trying to break into parts of the capitol building. Spare me with the "they were invited" nonsense. The window she was trying to crawl through was barricaded with furniture and had armed guards telling them not to come through. She tried anyways and took a bullet to the neck.

You know when I invite someone in, I usually barricade the doors and tell them to go away - that way they know I really want them the come inside, lol.

She fucked up and paid the price. That's the breaks.

Any time there is a shooting, especially a fatal shooting, there MUST BE an investigation and review of the Officers actions, Civilians and Security are not immune.
In NY if you use lethal force on someone, even some breaking through the window of your home, evidence must be collected and presented before a Grand Jury.
I'm not going to armchair QB the event, I have seen and been through Riots and realize a lot of rules out the window; that said, I expect things could have been handled differently and a debriefing at the very least of who did what, when, and why.
The Left/Democrats have sought martyrs from this to use for political gain (big surprise, right?) the same way they exploited it against trump...Does it not seem odd that ALL the Records were Sealed, and no one was held accountable?

Is Sicknick the one that was supposedly hit in the head with a fire extinguisher?

Are they trying to say that that could have caused the multiple strokes?
