I was caught up in a riot at a concert that devolved in a drawn out gunfight back in the late 1980s, in Jamaica (where I was born and raised). I can attest to the fact that until it happens to you, you have no idea how you are going to function, and that people create their own realities about what happened.
I'll finish watching the video later. Very interesting and refreshing to hear from someone who has faced the beast.
