I find it saddening the amount of glee being demonstrated in this thread. Not to mention the off-base optimism that now, somehow, the DoJ will FINALLY start bringing charges against the political elite who have demonstrated their corruption on multiple occasions, throughout the years. Or, even better, bring charges against those political elite who have a history of infringing on the Constitutional Rights of law-abiding Americans.

What makes you think things are going to be any different now, than they were twenty four hours ago? Do you think that they will finally stand up for us "little guys"?

I predict abso-fucking-lutely nothing being done in the next two years, just like the last two years.

It's bad enough to realize New York is a lost cause, no matter how hard we fight to restore our Rights. But to see the supposed Conservatives have all three houses and not do a damned thing to restore our Rights makes me realize the Country, as a whole, is also lost.

It's just a matter of when civil war 2 starts.

Nothing has changed.

DJT has always been willing to schmooze anyone if, overall, the end result will be positive. "Speak softly BEFORE you use that big stick". That demonstrates leadership and wisdom.

Sessions has been very good on the Border. Which is why some regret his passing even now (not me).

Jeff continues to support Trump. He is a true American (unlike so many), but is also a Swamp Creature - 1990 style - not 2018 style.

The .gov is obviously just as politically divided as we are. I believe it will fracture as soon as the first rounds go off.

And, since this isn't an obvious case of North vs. South, it will be a bloodbath as each side tries to consolidate their bases.
