Arjuna, I would respectfully ask that you carefully consider it the title of the threads you post in regards to stuff like this. The title itself being posted on a gun forum, which is typically conservative, can be misleading and misconstrued as fact.
We have enough enemies on the left attacking this Administration and even a shadow government of Obama faithfuls secretly trying to undo the current Administration, so the last thing we need is attacks from people on our side on issues that are not based in fact or truth.
When this Administration truly does do something that is not conservative or not in line with my beliefs I will be the first person to call them out, but I'm not going to do that after reading a few articles on the web because it's filled with leftist propaganda right now.

Wasn't this brought up before and a company wouldn't cooperate ...I think the San Diego shootings?? The cellphone password was stopping access and the company claimed "invasion of privacy" or once one phone is compromised,others follow. I can't remember clearly on the subject but my 2 cents...as with anyones property, a LEGAL search warrant overrides "invasion of privacy"

No I wasn't calling you a tyrant supporter. I was saying that this technological "back door" bs was already fought successfully once in the electronics industry (see wiki article). While they are at this why they do not propose a consumer privacy protection law?
Everyone has access to what is in one's phone and tablets anyway. We give all that up willingly but w/o actually knowing
the full extent of what companies are doing.
Data is harvested and then sold to the highest bidder. Sometimes this is sold to organizations that are shells for organized crime.
