COVID has been a shining example of how politicians have used the term "public health crisis" to do anyfuckinthing they want. When you staple the "health, safety, lives", what have you, of the general public, it creates a blank slate and virtually limitless possibilities for executive orders and infringements of rights, constitutional and otherwise.
When "public health" is attached to any issue, any pushback is then viewed as anti safety, anti human, anti life and therefore you become a heartless bastard for even thinking of endangering the life of another human being, worse yet, their mental health which is automatically nailed to physical health.
If one were to think just a little, how hard would it be to make a case for ANYTHING being a public health crisis because it could supposedly hurt people both physically and mentally. Example: rock climbing must be banned and outlawed. Why? People could fall and be killed. People hearing about rock climbing deaths would become distraught and it would have a serious affect on their mental health. A healthy mind is a healthy body. Tomorrow, we ban rock climbing.
Racism is not a public health crisis. Racism, depending on how far you want to go with it, is a social problem which will NEVER be eradicated. People are going to think and feel what they're going to think and feel. Blacks, whites, browns, reds, whatever will always have their own views and opinions on other people and cultures.
To come back around, guns have already been painted with this brush and now all that is needed is for the MSM to take the original painting and mass distribute prints into circulation so the sheep can receive communion in the church of CNN, MSNBC, and the like and now the new thought has become gospel.
A simple concept, a simple process, yet the sheep can't put down their iPhones and quit posting on Assbook long enough to send some low voltage impulses to their brain cells.
