Virginia has become a battleground for national interest groups after an unusually promising push for gun control sparked backlash among gun-rights proponents in the state. The two camps will now face off in a few days, when many Democratic challengers motivated by gun violence prevention will seek to unseat Republican incumbents.


Biden's endorsements ahead of the November 5 elections mirror endorsements made by prominent gun control groups such as Everytown for Gun Safety and Giffords. Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, the latter group's namesake, announced her organization's endorsements in Fairfax, Virginia, across the street from the headquarters of the National Rifle Association (NRA).
On Sunday, Biden plans to hit the Virginia campaign trail to help turn out the Democratic vote just 48 hours before Election Day. Republicans currently hold a narrow two-vote margin in both the House and Senate

Yeah if Virginia loses the General Assembly to the Democrats today.
it sounds like the Virginians will get something like Cuomos NY UNSAFE Act or worse shoved down their throats.

Last night I was lurking on a Virginia gun forum reading about this.
It reminded me of us back in 2013... We have already been there and done that.

If things go bad for them they have hope that they can fight it... I had hope when Cuomos NY UNSAFE Act
first got shoved down our throats. Then I learned better.

Sad is probably to strong of a word. But I felt kind of sad reading the hope that they have that this can be stopped or reversed if need be... I (we) have already been through this and know full well how it will play out.

It looks like another state might fall... I really do believe that there is a bloody fight coming.
Conservatives and other freedom loving Americans are being cornered... It's just a matter of time.

I just checked out the Virginia gun forum for any updates and found this below posted by one of their members.

In the 2017 election, at least HALF of all Virginia Gun Owners didn't vote (or they voted for those that want to take their guns away)!!!
