It's quite simple. Power.

You, yourself, brought up Venezuela. Look at how pampered the life of the elite in that Country are. Then compare it to the rank-n-file.
This is what we are heading toward. The "average citizen" will be scrounging among the debris for scraps while the elite live high-on-the-hog and tell us what to do.

But I've read enough history books to know how it eventually ends. And it doesn't have to take years for that ending to occur.

It sounds like we haven't failed ourselves, it sounds like we have been victims of a grand scheme to defraud the People of the United States.
America "deserves" what Biden, et al., want to give us just like a dog "deserves" to be chained up in a 5x5 pen for its entire life.

You could argue the only way we "failed" ourselves is in not bringing these corrupt politicians to justice. But is mob justice REALLY justice?

In regards to the American people failing themselves....

This is not just about the current election cycle. This failing has been going on for many years. We have allowed these horrible changes in society to occur.

We live in the age of Decedance, we have seen these changes, change right in front of our eyes and We The People, we have done little to alter the course.
