Everyone i know personally who has been coddled and bailed out again and again has become a failure.

What about the citizens who will need "immediate relief" from the draconian and crushing taxes he will, no doubt, impose, driving more and more people into poverty and the need to decide between "work and family"?

Does anyone actually believe that if NY were bailed out, and even if the accounts were set back to 0, that the scumbags in Albany would not increase local taxes anyways, because, well, Covid. It appears at least some school aid went to increase recurring costs (salaries, more TA's) not just to pay for one time costs to mitigate the scamdemic. You really think teachers will give up their minions after this? That will be the case at every level, because the main lesson learned from this debacle is, never let a good crisis go to waste.

I'm going to start looking into what municipalities offer incentives for professionals to move to them. This isn't unheard of -- normally it's in the form of easy mortgages if you're income is good / you're bringing in a job with you to the state / county. I think I heard of some places down in Georgia.

It may make sense to do something like that as a means to get out of the state.
