yup. A few of them.
I went through hell and back again just to get my Premise / Residence permit. They even asked me about situations where I had to request for PD backup when I was still working in the field as a Paramedic.
It took a total of 8 months for me to get my pistol permit, the Rifle/Shotgun was another hassle. It took almost 1 1/2 years for me to get my Rifle/Shotgun permit because the administrative aids "forgot" to call me when my application process was to move to the next step, then it was passed off to another administrative aid when that person went on medical leave.
The incompetence that is NYPD licensing division as a whole is disgusting and highly disorganized. I'm sure they are in no rush to fix anything of the issues as it prevents/slows down/discourages people from exercising their 2A rights.
