Absolutely nothing would have been done to 'people like him' in 800 AD. In those days human life expectancy ranged from about 30 to 60 y/o depending on gender and economic class. Men faired much worse.

Girls are able to conceive anywhere from 10-11 years old on up. Some maybe a bit older. Those days, with shorter life expectancy, and the ability to bear children, made what we deem disgusting, aberrant behavior very acceptable and actually quite normal back then.

But for all we know she overheard the father and son talking about their anxiety issues due to their “natural“ tools.. Again, I am sure this girl would’ve reported these matters to the police even if her intention was to sue. The fact that police didn’t take it up tells me we need to look closer.

I think some people are missing the point, looking at this as if the behavior was consensual and wanted. Rather than just think of her age alone, look at the acts committed against her. Think of a pervert taking advantage/raping your child and think about what a parent would do to someone that did that.
