I agree with your idea and sentiment, but militarizing the police is not a good idea. Someday the shoe will be on the other foot. Think if cuomo gets in and we protest his new gun laws boom we get arrested and guns are gone. I don't really trust either side of the government with any more power than they have right now. I actually think they have too much power now.

I'm not saying to militarize the police at all, just do their job. There must be law and order.
These terrorists ARE NOT protesting, they are rioting, very, very, very big difference. If we in NY caused that kind of havoc, I'd expect resistance from the police.

Did you read where I said, "or do the right thing and call in the militias?" Which could also be the national guard if no militias are available.
If the police don't do something, this WILL grow and WILL hit closer to where you live.
