The scenario: DSDMMAT's torture challenge. Every year I pick a target to drive you nuts so this year it is my sight in 01 target torture challenge. Choose the hardest shots and potentially get yourself a win.
Stance to use:
10 Yard Pistol Stance: Free style
25 yard Rifle Stance: Off Hand
50 yard Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Stance: Freestyle or Bench Rest
100/200 yard Rifle Stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest / Prone
100 yard Red dot/iron sight rifle stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest/ Prone
Course of fire:
5 rounds – for all categories
Sight in 01 target: No points awarded if your bullet touches two circle targets.
1 point for hitting the target in the 1" line, 2 points if you touch the white dot in the center.
3 points for hitting the target in the 3/4" line, 4 points if you touch the white dot in the center.
5 points for hitting the target in the 5/8" line, 6 points if you touch the white dot in the center.
7 points for hitting the target in the 1/2" line, 8 points if you touch the white dot in the center.
9 points for hitting the target in the 3/8" line, 10 points if you touch the white dot in the center.
11 points for hitting the target in the 1/4" line, 15 points if you touch the white dot in the center.
SR1 target: Score rings are on the target, a hit on the line counts for the higher score.
Target to use:
10 yard pistol/ 25 yard rifle, 100 yard rifle, 200 yard rifle, use the sight_in01 target.
50 yard PCC/ 100 yard no mag red dot/ iron sight use the SR1 target, single bull target
So there are 2 categories for the 100 Yard rifle. Iron sight/ no magnification red dot which always shoots the SR1 target. The second 100 yard rifle category where any magnification is allowed always shoots the other target in the challenge.
If you shoot the 100 yard challenge at the SR1 no magnification is allowed. If you shoot the other target the sky is the limit on magnification.
