Looked like he was attempting to block the police officers path or stop their progress to me.
Rush up? He's like 70.
should have had his walker then and wouldn't have fell down ..
They were in violation of curfew signed by the mayor. The intent was clearly to disperse the violator not to crack his skull open. Come back to earth. How can you gauge intent? Who are they to give orders? They have every right to assemble.

The officers names and addresses have been circulated online and there are calls to burn their houses down. I have volunteered to stand guard if needed.
Certainly wasn’t a violent push driving him into the ground. Zero intent. Bad outcome.
The lack of concern for his well-being speaks volumes.
Nobody could have known he would fall. It was very minimal contact. He fumbled his footwork and caused his own fall.
I'll have to disagree here also. You could tell he'd go over just by looking at him.Nobody could have known he would fall. It was very minimal contact. He fumbled his footwork and caused his own fall.
Ok. Next.I'll have to disagree here also. You could tell he'd go over just by looking at him.
There is a word for people that think the police can do no wrong. I won’t say it but that’s what you are.Ok. Next.
Again, there was zero intent to bust the guys skull open. If he had left as he was lawfully ordered to multiple times, he would have avoided the possibility of putting himself in such a situation. The police aren't just going to sit with and coddle every person who feels they should not have to comply with a lawful order. The outcome was not what anyone would want, but it could have been avoided with obeying a lawful order. Sad!There is a word for people that think the police can do no wrong. As someone said above, “Know your threat.” This old man wasn’t a threat to anyone. Also said was that one guy could have stepped aside and grabbed this geezer by the arm. Would you be okay if it was an old woman? A child? A handicapped person? Would you do the same?
I’m guessing you wouldn’t. You’d be singing a different tune if I did it to the same old man if I was in a crowd. But because it’s the police... See first paragraph. Maybe they will let you clean the bathrooms in the station house.

Yep. He really didn’t mean to do it and he knew that he screwed up and regretted it. The look said it all. I actually feel bad for the dude because it wasn’t his intention for that to happen but at the same time, he would not hesitate to lock me up if I did the same exact thing if I was a protester about guns for example and the same old man got into my face and ended up getting his skull cracked. The look on the officer's face even says I fucked up. Anyways, I said my piece on this and will now stay out of it.
Look, I have no problem with you offering to watch over the guy's house. His name's been published which is a huge risk for him and his family especially at a time like this. All over what definitely seems unintentional, but that video especially makes things look worse with the police marching over him showing no concern. Sadly this whole thing could have, and should have been prevented.Ok. Next.
