The Canadian forum I spoke of was NYfirearms....a swipe at the ownership. I guess slingshots are legal in Canada, after a background check of yourself, your parents, grandparents, and three weeks of certification training. Only acorns can be used as projectiles.

We're all well aware friend. I was an Admin of that site (and the most active one by far at the time of it's sale), and one of my two partner's running this place was also site staff there. We left that place and made this one because of various things related to that site's sale. A large portion of our membership here came along with us for some of the same reasons.

Did take awhile for me to catch on. This past year was really busy with work and the house...not much time for shooting hobbies. But now retired and looking forward to some projects. For one, I've got a rolling block I want to convert to 45-70.
