Just took in a bucket of scrap brass to junkyard.

50# made $40. I reload so this was scrap plus all the range crap the slobs leave behind. A full 5 gallon bucket. Also included all the primers I punched out at the bench.

Recycling is environmentally friendly.

209 shotgun primers have a steel component. Rifle and handgun primers are usually chrome plated copper or brass. Throw rifle and pistol primers into the scrap brass. Shotgun primers into the scrap steel.

Heck yes. Big time saver...
I've an easy 200# for the scrapper, just been hanging onto it. Almost brought it in early last month when prices were up but I'm in no hurry.

The last time I took soda and beer cans in aluminum was 25 cents a pound and brass was 90 cents a pound. He had ten pound, $9.

Most likely checked for Wedding Rings, too. A diamond would have been sweet.

I wasn't really a hunter back then, so when they returned with bulging wallets, all I could do was sit back, sip me rum, and grow ever more jealous.
