Shit, a lawsuit is basically worthless in this case. The 9th will rule against it, and by the time it gets to SCOTUS (IF it even does), President Speedy Gonzalez will have his AG, Slo Mo Gonzalez drop the case at the direction of the head of the DOJ, Con Mucho Gusto Gonzalez.
What he should have done is have Federal Agents bust the shit out of her home front door @ 4AM, and drag her ugly half dressed screaming ass outside; throw her in a van, and haul ass out of CA before her illegal immigrant gardener showed up for work for the day.

That windbag's mouth is writing check's the state of California can't cash. I'll believe it when I see him mobilize the California National Guard and order them to secure the state line. Then when he finds out as Wallace did that the National Guard is under Federal control, won't he look sheepish.
Sessions moves way too slowly and seemingly has zero desire to root out corruption in Washington. Perhaps he's had a few too many social engagements with the swamp creatures in his tenure. Also, the fixation on weed and asset forfeiture are abject wastes of time.

This is actually similar to when Arizona tried to enforce federal law, but the Obama administration insisted that the federal government had primary power regarding immigration and that Arizona could not enforce such laws at the state level. The supreme court sided with the federal government. The Liberals lauded that decision.
Well....now California wants to put their state's ability to manage immigration above the federal government. The Trump administration insists that is not how things work. The lawsuit filed by Sessions actually opens with the same wording as the suit filed by the Obama administration.
Bottom line: The constitution says that Congress has the power to set immigration policy. The Supreme Court's decision regarding Arizona essentially gave the executive branch federal power to set immigration policy. In any case, the state must yield to the federal government with regards to immigration. What was legal under Obama must now be deemed legally appropriate under Trump.

I really don't care if California wants to secede. That'd be fine with me. They can take their damn electoral votes out of our electoral college and make it more likely to get non-Liberal presidents elected. The only issue is: Can we kick them out of the union and then build a wall along their eastern border?

If you're the governor of a state in the union, and you want to start tossing around phrases like "Act of War" in reference to the Federal gov't, you better be ready to back'em up.
I have no problem with people coming to America to make a better life for them and their families those are the American we want. It the drug dealing gang members murders rapist criminal thugs we don't want. So you get arrested for a felony, convicted, you get deported. People get arrest and convicted for stupid stuff drunk in public, dwi, of minor crimes you get one strike that's it. I would like to see a clear road for people that are here to be able to become citizen but it looks like neither side wants that.
Spanish/Latinos are conservative and church goes and pro family everything the Republicans are but I think it's time for a 4 party electorate cause the normal Democrats and Republicans are defenantly being over run by the elitist progressives and now a supremacist/nationalist. Hispanic voters are indeed religious and socially conservative, but their political beliefs are pretty much socialism all day every day. There's a reason socialism is the prevailing system throughout central and south america. Immigrants from those countries bring those beliefs with them, and they will always ask for more and more and more from the government (aka your money).
