If Donald Trump is not elected to be president, this type of Supreme Court Justice will cease to exist. Instead we’ll have snarky little activists who have no respect for the construction of the Constitution and will be focused and preoccupied with forming it as “a living document” into a liberal, empty shadow of itself that is devoid of meaning, many protections and its original intent.
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is asked in a Heritage Foundation event to describe what clauses he “gravitates to” when formulating and deciding a ruling. He says, “Whatever’s in the Constitution. I mean it’s all there. The Bill of Attainder’s there. The Third Amendment’s there, that we skip over.”
