Any praise is high praise from Karl. He is notoriously picky. Especially with newer guns.
Also I found it interesting that he mentioned keeping pace with 5.56 guns. That has been my experience too, I ran my Ace 308 in one of Ben's classes and I was right there with all the ARs in speed on target and even in mag changes. The left side charging handle is a massive ergonomic improvement to the Kalashnikov pattern.
If you run 25 round magazines you aren't even behind in terms of capacity either, I had no difficulties in keeping the gun fed over time.
It really is a top tier choicr for a .308 semi auto.
If you can remember, I had that exact same failure with Tula ammo, and like Karl never since then.Did you watch him run it in the action handgun match (the one with the ammo failure) his rojnds on target did not look like it was from a .308 gun but probably a heavy recoilint 5.56 (which a heavy 5.56 recoil is even lighter than a light .308)
