Nighttrain

I keep my personal guns as is from the factory, no reason to change anything to try to improve the performance.
A shield 9 is what I carry also.My EDC is an M&P Shield 9.
I've changed the sights to Tru Glo night sights.
I've installed the complete Apex trigger kit that replaced the factory trigger, striker block, sear, and all the springs.
The factory mags come 7 rounds (flush mount) and 8 rounds. I've updated them all with mag guts kits to 8 rounds (still flush mount) and 10 rounds (spare mags on left hip at 10:00. The new floorplate added barely 1/4" OAL).
I added rubberized talon grips to frame.
Not worried about "enhancements" in a court battle. I'd rather live to fight another day and figure it out later.
I think it's biologically impossible for me to not to tweak a rifle or handgun. There's just something wired in me that can't leave good enough alone. All my handguns have at least a lightly polished trigger and upgraded sights.Anyone do it? Anyone able to resist the temptation to modify or upgrade a gun they own? As much as I enjoy getting accessories and upgrading the guns I own, there is always this underlying appreciation for buying a gun and keeping it completely stock (with the exception of maybe adding a scope or red dot). Just a shower thought I suppose...
