I don't see why not. There really aren't any "restricted" items on it. The mag is removable, but that's it! It can't be considered a "collapsible" stock, as the rifle can't be shot when it is folded under.

You have an SU-16? I think this are interesting rifles, well suited for its niche. Not a better back pack gun out there I don't think.
I like the SU-16CA model personally.

I think member a while back was interested in one
My Son has an SU-16A. It's a fun gun to shoot. The concept makes it perfect for a backpacking, or bugout rifle. It's really light, but shoots well. The for-arm/bipod works pretty cool, and actually is fine for shooting with in either mode. The bipod obviously isn't adjustable for elevation, but for fun bench shooting, it functions well enough.
