Galco - $70 Amazon, made in Phoenix AZ. Ritchie leather $110 . . . Hell, even Desantis leather is U.S. made (Amityville NY) and you can get one for $55 on Amazon! My Galcos are made beautifully,

I'm liking the Galco but there own web site say's that some are domestic and some imported a phone call to them only left me more confused

The leathers are definitely US made. I'm looking on the website now and it says "in 1983 the company moved from Chicago to its present home in Phoenix AZ, where all Galco products are still designed and hand crafted."

Don't get me wrong, the Ritchie stuff is nice but . . . $$$. I wouldn't be surprised if the nylon duty gear was overseas made, but I don't see that on the website. I own an Andrews McDaniel IWB, a Milt Sparks VM2 IWB, a Ritchie Stakeout IWB, a Galco Combat Master OWB, Galco Miami Classic shoulder holster, a very well used Galco Fletch OWB retention , a couple of Desantis Mini Slides and an El Paso Leather exotic pancake. All are leather holsters and I think that the Galco products are top notch. A good value for my money. The Desantis are not as nicely made as the Ritchie or Galco, but very serviceable.

I second this. I have one for my 1911 and IMO i think you can't get a better leather holster for a 1911.

I have leather holsters for all of my handguns. My favorites, by far, are the Galco’s. All of my 1911 holsters are Galco’s.

I just found this thread after ordering a leather paddle holster from MASC , A Turkish make I found on Amazon. Seems Okay but a bit too tight. Going to try throwing it under the pillow ( an old baseball glove trick ) for a few nights to see if it softens..

I actually have a bunch of MASC holsters. They are really tight in the beginning and require a few weeks of daily use to break in but they are great holsters.

I use one for my Glock 30, 19 and my P226.

Just as good as a Galco but $30 cheaper.

Thanks for the reply, just wanted a outside wear for range shooting.. hoping it won't leave wear marks on my new HK..

Better idea . . . Wrap the gun in a plastic grocery bag and put in holster. It will stretch it out j-u-s-t enough.
