So the King demands biometrics to be collected by the state in order to allow travel... Can't see how this is enforceable, or how the State outside of "law" effectuate it! The governor does not have the legal ability to demand personal medical data from persons traveling for permission to do so! Otherwise just set up border gates at each roadway, path or entrance to the state and skip to go and get it over with already!

New York is scrapping its weekly list of states from where visitors had to quarantine and instead implementing a new COVID-19 testing system for travelers.

I understand that it creates issues at times. Believe me, I live it everyday.
But this will not end unless we the people make it end.
Especially here in NY.

Last month I went to the reservation down the road to buy some smokes.
They bitch about me not wearing a mask but what's new. Now the place got real strict
about the mask and also wanted to take my temperature before I went in the store.
Yeah, fuck that.

I went to the next smoke shop down the road. I walked in like I own the place, with no mask on. Purchased my couple of cartons of cigs and left. I am pretty sure that I am not their only new paying customer.

I think that I am in the wrong thread... Doh!

So everyone who disembarks from a plane has to show proof that they are negative? Or will they be denied entrance to the plane at the point of origin? Isn't this interference with interstate commerce? I feel like i'm in a cluster fuck without any hope of pleasure.

Yes this scares me. I think the new normal will include masks for a very long time. I think they will see the flu numbers and like them because we are broke and keep a lot of this shit going.

It's enforceable because he said it is.

The rule of law is quickly being replaced by edict from those in power who are using whatever power they have or importantly imagine they have. The fact that the 1st amendment's protection of right to assemble has been removed in many states with barely a whisper of complaint is telling.

Masks aren't going away for the foreseeable future.

It's easy to say disobey but I literally cannot conduct my life without a mask now; I will gain access to neither my place of employment or anywhere I do business, or my kids' schools. Only two businesses I can think of in the past few months don't give a shit.

I also know that if I decided to make a thing of it and be arrested I'd have exactly zero people showing up at the court house to advocate for me. So I do the natural thing that sheep do: I go along with it.
