Kingston is full of liberals these days. Some of the mega liberal people I know from college set up shop there. It’s already a city that looks like garbage from economic destruction. It’ll only get worse.

Kingston has been fucked since IBM moved out in the 90's. The current mayor here is an imbecile. Every time he has to go in front of people or cameras he looks like a deer staring into headlights. His uncle is the guy that actually rules Kingston. Kingston has been a dumping ground for the people that NYC social services cant take care of anymore for close to twenty years now. There are so many group homes in and around Kingston that are just a drain on the City's money. Did you know that all you have to do to get your rent and food paid for is be a fuck up drunk or drug addict? Reward the fuckups and take away from the hard working people. I grew up in Kingston and I have fond memories of the city. I don't know maybe one remembers things in a better light as a kid but i remember a community back then. People had jobs and the city streets were not getting swallowed up in sink holes. It isn't just Washington ave it is all over the city. There are calls everyday reporting a new hole someplace and all they do is put a barrel over the top of it. Let's talk about it being a sanctuary city. One of my oldest and best friends is KPD and he said all that did was let MS-13 come in and run around doing whatever they want. They murdered 4 people two miles from where i live.
Ulster county an Kingston have just became a further extension of NYC. It is a joke. Taxes keep goign up on homeowners because either businesses are leaving or going under. That makes the homeowners leave. The cost of living is outrageous. Then there is the mess of the stockade area. All i see there is is a bar or some trendy shop opening up and closing every 4 months. Now from there let's take a walk down Broadway and see the cancer that just seems to be spreading into every neighborhood. Then there is downtown... Bars and drunks yay...
Kingston High school is a zoo. It was bad when i was there and all it has done is get worse. It houses way to many students. At least when i went there they didn't need armed police just to keep the kids in check...
This is why I am moving my family out of this area. It isn't goign to get any better. I moved back down thinking it would be good to raise my kids here, what the fuck was I thinking. After two years I am already going to move to a different county further north. Guess i am lucky as i work from home, i feel for the people that have careers down here still.

I never went on vacation as a kid with my family. It was all about saving for college. Then, when I get to college, guess what what? Since my parents had actually saved money, I had almost no financial aid. Yet there were people who went that got tons of aid, and their families went on yearly vacations and they had nice cars.
Also, Cuomo is giving away free college now. What about the people that worked hard to be able to go? Fuck them I guess.
Joke is on Cuomo though, because I’ll be moving out of state long term rather than supporting that tyrant.
