Knife Sharpening Karma

Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you a Post-Thanksgiving Pre-Christmas/Hannukah knife sharpening karma.

Up for grabs is a Work Sharp Guided Sharpening System. Added bonus, I'll throw in the Accessory Upgrade kit. Practically new (used once or twice) still in the original package.

The rules are simple. You must have been a member here for at least a month, having at least 50 meaningful posts, and post a picture of your favorite knife.

In about a week or so I'll select a winner using a random number generator.

My EDC. A 1990's early Spyderco Endura that I cut a " wave" into. Been through thick and thin with this knife and have it on as I type this. Very generous deal, Minderasr..

My EDC, a Leatherman Crater. Have had it for going on 7 yrs at least. Have lost it a dozen times. Found it in the lawn, in the road, under the backhoe seat.....
I was Secret Santa'd a very nice Gerber Fastball that I carry as a non-work knife ( refer to "lost it a dozen times" above ).

I have a Work Sharp belt sharpener that is OK but would like a stone type sharpener to replace my 30 yr old Arkansas stone that I dropped and broke.

You know...

The Old Superstition said that you cannot "give" a knife to anyone, as it then severs the relationship! The exchange must not be a gift, so the reciever must give something in return to make it a trade, even if it's a penny!

Definitely some nice Karma. I’ve recently been thinking I need to sharpen some knives. I don’t have a ton of knives but I do really like my FOX Knives FX-597 The DART Tanto Karambit designed by Doug Marcaida. The other one that I carry sometimes is a pretty inexpensive Kershaw Shuffle II with their Blackwash finish. Though the Kershaw is inexpensive, it gets the job done and has a bottle opener. I guess now that I look at the Emerson Wave feature on the FX-597, it could be used as a bottle opener too but I’ve never tried...hmmmm! I’m also a fan of Tanto’s if you can’t tell lol.

Terrific karma - count me in. Here are my 2 faves. Kershaw cryo is my edc. Ganzo Firebird (orange handle) is the knife I carry when working in yard/garden. Easy to find if dropped.

I have lots of knives but you said my favorite. It’s my benchmade emissary that my wife bought me for our 15th anniversary. I bought here 1 ct diamond earings and I think I got the better gift. Her earrings were ten times my knife cost.
