Knockoff CAT Tourniquet

I have liked the CAT style as they are simple and quick to use, but for what they are they are stupid expensive.
I have not tried these but they are cheap as hell. I might buy a few, stress test a couple to make sure they dont just break, but at less than $5 one can literally scatter them everywhere.

*edit* The one I posted is actually expensive for Temu. There are tons of options out there, even some that appear to be an aluminum bar instead of plastic. which I think might be the failure point of a knockoff.

Avoid the cheap Chinese knock-offs. They'll fail when you need them the most. A n authentic CAT runs around $20. I dont see that as breaking the bank

Average price I have seen is $25-$30, same differance more or less. I have a real one, but do not carry it on the daily, so in reality it will never be where I actually need it. My thought process was to scatter them through out my daily life, throw one in the first aid kit of each vehicle, in the shop(s) etc etc.

I just dont see the udefulness of a substandard fake that has a good chance of failing when you need it

There are things that I have cut corners to save money on by buying a useful, but lesser product.....
A TQ is NOT one of those places.
Save up, and sprinkle the good ones around your life, in order of where you're most likely to need one.

I can buy a $150 Taurus handgun for EDC too. Do I really want to trust my life to it? I have a bunch of CAT tourniquets from Warriror Poet. I trust those guys, if they're good enough for John Lovell, they're good enough for me.
