Experiencing something new recently. Seems like my Lapua brass in 6mm Creed has "lost" neck tension while seating.
Anyone who reloads is familiar with the resistance on the press when seating. Recently, that resistance is VERY light and almost undiscernable. These cases have maybe 6-7 loadings and I anneal every time.
I checked my die expander ball and it is set for .0015 thousands neck tension. It's the same die I've been using for years. They're now seating with just enough tension to hold them static but I can move then by hand with a little effort.
