Whenever I start feeling like this will be another nothing burger, I like to remind myself that these will be Federal charges, with Federal prosecutors, who's boss's boss is not a fan of Latecia, and that since most of the mortgage fraud happened outside of NY, she might get to spend some time in Virginia (or maybe some other far-flung place) for the trial.

I feel the same way about it.
She`ll just pay the fines from our tax revenue that Oink set aside for her defense funds.

I love your optimism.
But no, nothing "glorious" is going to happen.
The Repubs have been handed, on a silver platter, a perfect example of the kind of criminality the Dems display, and they still seem to drag their feet.
Other Repubs interfere with legislation they were specifically voted into office to produce.
It's almost like they really, really want to lose the mid-terms. Kind of a "I've been here long enough to guarantee my retirement now it's time to get out".
