I keep mine locked up.
My gun safe is a bit under 2000sqft with 4 bedrooms.
I have a smaller humidity control device inside the gun safe, many of my guns are locked inside that as well, but not home defense weapons.

I agree, the safe has a key lock on the door with Windows! There's actually enough room inside the safe to make dinner and sleep, shower and rest. Annnnnnd?

Didn't that silly little SCOTUS ruling for the security guard down in D.C. cover keeping a firearm unusable in the domicile was Defacto restricting it's purpose? The one recognized purpose of the 2A, defense of oneself, let alone in your home? Kids or no... simply amazing!

I will have to read to find out but I wonder if this includes having cable locks on them...Probably not locked up is locked up.....
any ammunition provisions......But I lock that up seperately though...I could never get everything ready fast enough to get pesky coon or rat of something roaming around the property.... hehehehe
