Lawmakers move to automate Selective Service registration for all men

I have never registered for selective service. I spent my 18th birthday in basic training and kind of figured they had my number at that point.

Could be totally "normal" as it's approaching summer drilling for guard and reserves, however I just watched a very long, very full army train heading east on the CSX mainline tracks towards Buffalo. Could be going to ft. Drum, could be heading to a port. Who knows.

Was a mix of tan and green painted vehicles, all sorts of Humvee variations, mraps, fuel, medical And logistics equipment even some m777 artillery pieces.

Units constantly rotate Training at NTC and vehicles are Rail Headed there and back...pretty routine.
Given the abject cluster fuck it is to prep, inspect, manifest, load and unload; it literally takes two weeks to move a Battalion and a month for a Brigade....Escorted MANY a Soldier onto and off Aircraft over almost two decades there.

Honestly, with everything going on in the world right now it made me very uneasy, my spidey senses were tingling and I didn't like it.

The only saving grace is that they'll have a hard time reaching us.

Their only real way is to smuggle a nuke into a US city. Given what targets they would choose, we might be better off afterwards.

One thing I know though, that would be the end of Iran.

OFC, they might nuke Isreal instead, and half the world would blame the Jews for it.

I still believe that the Chinese or Russia already has nukes in our country and if someone found one of them, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

From what folks told me a few months ago, there is likely warehouses of one-way attack drones on US soil ready to attack major cities. Just because our border is wide open.

Nothing surprises me anymore with this administration. Nothing.

There are rumblings of including females in the registration. Personally, I don't wish that on any 18 yo. Do you want your kids going to Ukraine for the money grubbing gnome?
